About

As of December 1, 2022, we have a building under contract. It is located at 220 S. Main Street in Dobson, North Carolina, and is only two blocks from our current location. It will need some work to make everything an ideal office space for our ministry, but God has truly blessed us. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” It has been amazing journey thus far and a great testimony of God’s perfect timing. We will update this page as we can and hopefully can get a picture of the building on here soon.

February 14-November 27, 2022

On February 14, 2022, Gospel Broadcasting started a building fund with the intent to either build a new office building or to purchase an exisiting building. We had run out of space in our main office, and needed a larger building to meet the current needs as well as to be to grow the ministry if it is the Lord’s will. The building fund slowly grew with both large and small gifts, but God never opened a building or land for us. In the summer, we became aware of building that would soon be on the market. When it was finally listed in September, we were able to look at it. We believed that this was the building that God wanted us to have. We were not able to come to an agreement on the price. In October, we found out that the building where we are currently leasing office space in had sold. The rent increased immediately, and we no longer had a lease but it is on a month to month basis. The Lord seemed to be nudging us out of our nest. (You can watch the video below for more information.) We continued to try to negotiate a price on the building during this time but we were getting no where.

November 29, 2022-February 10, 2023

After Thanksgiving, God began to move in the building situation. On November 28th, while Bro. Ricky was praying about the buildng, the Lord impressed upon him to offer a new amount. While he was praying, the realtor called him. We were able to reach an agreement on the price the next day. Bro. Ricky was talking with the bank and they wanted to meet with him on November 30th. Two bank executives were in town that day and wanted to meet. One of them was able to call the small business loan department and helped speed the loan process up. We were able to meet the realtor on December 1st and put the building under contract! Then on December 5th, $24,100 toward building fund was in the mail and more than doubled the building fund! The Lord continued to bless the project by sending in over $83,000 from the time that the building went under contract until we signed the papers on the building on February 10th. Although we still need around $200,000 to completely pay for the new building and renovation work, God has been so good!

February 11, 2023-present

It has been a whirlwind of activity that only God could have orchestrated to get done in such a quick fashion. Although not all the work has been completed, in the building, we moved in at the end April. We hope to have an open house in July. We will try to get pictures on here and on Facebook as soon as possible.
